Hi I'm Sammy. Life has been a very rough journey so far and because of this, I have put some very high walls up to protect myself from all of the scary things in this world. Here in the shelter I only leave my bed to eat my food when the coast is clear, and as soon as I hear a noise, I am back hiding to keep myself safe! I am looking for a very special quiet home with an experienced cat owner who has dealt with timid cats before, where someone can give me the patience, love and kindness to come out of my shell and break down my high walls. I will eventually reward my new family with companionship and love in return! I would not suit living with kids because they are super scary!! I may suit being a solo cat, or suit living with a friendly male feline who can teach me a thing or two about being a house cat, and show me that not everything is scary and there is lots of love in this world!
