About Pablo
Our handsome 2.5-year-old long noodle Pablo is ready to find his forever home and wants to know if it could be you!
Pablo had an unlucky start to life. We rescued him from a pound in rural NSW where he had been dumped, along with seven of his friends. Pablo’s beautiful foster family literally gave him a second chance at life, when they cleared a spot on their couch for him and Pablo is not looking back!
Being a young boy, Pablo still has some puppy energy and loves a good play, but he also loves to chill out. He is currently living in a unit with a courtyard, and a similar (or larger) space would suit him well for his forever home.
Pablo has had limited socialisation with other dogs, so a new home will continue to take introductions gradually. He is friendly with other greyhounds he has met on walks and could potentially go into a home with another friendly hound but is also happy being an only dog. Pablo loves going for walks and is confident with outdoor noises. His loose-leash walking skills are improving every day.
Pablo is learning his basic cues and know his name, how to sit (awkwardly – he is a greyhound after all!), and ‘wait’ (for food). He loves to steal beanies and ugg boots, so keep an eye on your winter woollies!
Pablo had a bit of separation anxiety early on but has now built up to 4 or 5 hours home alone, sleeping happily on the bed. We don’t think Pablo is ready for a home with FT workers but a home with PT workers, people who are mostly WFH, or students would suit him well.
Pablo does have a little bit of sleep startle, which is easily managed by having him sleep on his own bed, but for this reason we recommend a home with no children under 12 years.
If you think you might have the perfect home for this goofy speed noodle, please contact us at adopt@amazinggreys.com.au.
Before enquiring, please consider:
• What your work/social commitments will look like as we approach a ‘Covid-normal’
• The time and financial commitments of introducing a forever hound to your home
Please no applications from:
• Homes with no outdoor space
• Homes with children under 12 years
• Homes where Pablo would be left alone for FT working hours
