Hey you! I'm the Princess of Wonder but I guess you can just call me Wonda for short.
I was too smart for my old home so when I was found running around stray they didn't come back for me. Luckily OTC had a spot for me and let me come and stay with them for a while!
Since coming into care, I have proven to be a bundle of sass and cuteness. I am smart, playful and know what I want. Being a mix breed, my adult size isn't known for sure, but I should grow to be a nice medium sized doggo. Not too big, not too small!
I know the basics, like sit, inside, outside or go to bed- I LOVE to learn, and I'm really super clever so would do well with someone who will keep up with proper training. I am well housetrained and have no problems alerting you when I need to get outside! I need secure fencing to keep me safe, and would love to come inside at night to sleep.
I look forward to 4x weekly outings, so I can see the world, run sniff and roll! I would love a confident older dog friend for company, preferably a male but show me what you've got, and need someone who is confident and can keep up my socialisation so I don't end up a total princess!
I am the perfect dog for someone committed to my enrichment and training needs, and will reward you with all the fun and love in the world! I would make a fantastic sporting dog for something like flyball or lurecoursing and thrive on activity and good training! Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:
- Real estate approval
- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. If you follow through with adoption after your meet, the $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must notify OTC, and present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic we direct you to in your area. OTC will cover any treatment needed at our authorised clinics.

NEED FLIGHTS?
1. Contact us for a quote via email or facebook, providing the following info.
- Your name
- The animal you are interested in
- How soon you would be able to adopt (as naturally their weight will increase with time)
- Which airport you would collect from
2. Once all of the above information is provided, we will gain a quote from JetPets, using our charity discount. Flights are generally from Brisbane or Toowoomba, QLD.
3. Once you receive your quote, if you'd like to proceed please put in your adoption application ASAP to make sure you don't miss out!
