About Mr Tom ~ your boy for head boops, 6yo
Sometimes in rescue we get tiny sweet fluffy baby kittens, whose big blue eyes and playful ways find them homes immediately! Other times we get special fellows like Mr Tom here. Mr Tom might need a little extra time to get to know, but the loving and grateful companion you will get makes it all worthwhile.
We were recently contacted by a local vet with a very sad story - a client of theirs had passed away, leaving behind their much loved buddy, Mr Tom. Mr Tom had found his way to safety at the vet clinic, but he found all the noise and activity so scary! Losing his person and being in such a scary place was just too much. But Mr Tom got lucky! A lovely person decided to foster him - and after just a day or two was so charmed by his beautiful nature that he wanted to keep him. Unfortunately for Mr Tom, his new friend turned out to be highly allergic to him, and Mr Tom had to move again. Mr Tom has found a safe spot with his new foster parents, but is now hoping to find a happy home all of his own.
Mr Tom is 6 years old and has had a tough time recently. As such, it will take a little time, patience and effort for him to settle in to a new home and routine. Your efforts will be rewarded with a very affectionate and gentle companion who loves head boops, taking long naps beside you and curling up in the crook of your neck on the pillow. He is looking for a calm and quiet home where he can feel safe, and would best suit a very quiet couple or single.
Some Mr Tom basics:
*Gives hard head boops
*a big twerker, lifting his butt in the air when you pat his back
*Uses his litter tray like a champ
*self sustaining, he doesn't need to be entertained or fussed over
*likes long naps in a quiet, sunny location
*very affectionate before bed, bringing out the purrs, curls and smooches
*inside cat only
*currently in foster care at Wallsend
*Would happily share his home with another cat.
Mr Tom is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.
