About Angel
Bonjour! My name is Angel and I am a 6 month old black and white, sassy French Bulldog. If you are looking for an overly affectionate best friend with a huge vest for life then you have found the perfect match with me!
I was born without the use of my back legs, due to spina bifida, but don't let this diagnosis fool you- I am one speedy little pup and I have worked out how to get around just fine! I am an unstoppable force of nature who will spare no energy to make you laugh and I run and play until I am forced to rest. I am sure you will be as pleased to meet me as I am you. I have had spinal surgery to help correct my condition as well as lots of physio/ hydrotherapy, acupuncture and laser therapy, this has helped a lot and I can now move around a lot better than before.. I still don't move around like other dogs you might know but I think I do just fine!
What this darling Angel lacks in continence, she more than makes up with doggy kisses & a very snuggly demeanour. Angel will need a forever home that can commit to ongoing physio and treatment to keep her functional and one where she receives daily morning-cuddles (this is a must!). We are hoping that her forever home will have some furry friends, as Angel LOVES dog-savvy cats, and especially loves other tolerant dogs of any size.
Angel's adoption fee includes:
- A gorgeous, lovable French Bulldog pup
- A 12kg bag of Hills Puppy Food
- 5 free physio/hydrotherapy sessions at Well Beings in (West Footscray)
- 1 x free 45min acupuncture session at SCAR Community Animal Hospital (Craigieburn)
- A new dog stroller for long walks & 4 x outdoor dog booties
Angel will need a dedicated owner to take care of her as she will have special needs for life, but we promise she is totally worth it! Apply below if you are interested and our Pathways Coordinator will have a chat with you regarding Angel's needs.
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
