Looking for a new place to call home is sweet and kind natured Burt. Burt is a little timid at first but with the right love and care his beautiful nature will shine through.
With little to no training in his past we highly recommend that Burt attends obedience training to help grow his confidence as well strengthen the bond between him and his new owners.
Being a working type breed Burt will require secure 6ft fences to keep him safe and sound. With twice daily walks/runs as well as plenty of toys to keep his mind active to stop him from becoming bored and destructive. He is sure to bring plenty of joy to his new home and family.
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
