I was surrendered to Lort Smith as my previous carer could not provide me with the daily activity, play and mental stimulation that I so desperately need.

I am a super lovable and quirky boy, with lots of love and joy to give to my new family. I have an exuberant amount of energy to burn, so my new family will need to take me to obedience classes. This will help build upon my already learnt skills, and provide me with lots of activity, play and mental stimulation. I just love to learn! I need to work on my manners around new people and other dogs, as it is at times very hard for me to contain my excitement.

I will need a quieter but highly active home, with no children or small animals, as I can get over excited and do not know my own strength. I could go to a home with another calm and confidant dog who will be able to keep up with my playful nature and teach me some manners along the way.

I would love it if my new adopters are home more often than not, as I am not used to being along for long periods. They will need to assist me with independence training, so I learn that it is not so bad being left alone.

I will be adopted with a disclaimer for my teeth, as there is a possibility that I may need a dental in the future. The staff here will be happy to explain this further to you.
