About Bella
Bella is such an amazing dog but does have some special requirements so please read carefully before submitting an application.
Bella has been in our care for quite a while because it does take her some time to warm up to new people. She has been staying with a trainer for the last month and her confidence has improved so much however she will need someone with patience and dedication to continue her training.
Bella missed out on some important socialisation as a puppy and therefore she may always be more nervous and skeptical than your average dog but once she’s bonded with you she is INCREDIBLY affectionate, playful and is just so much fun to have around. She makes her foster carer laugh daily!
Bella needs- An understanding, dedicated, patient owner who is prepared to give her the time and training she needs.
- An adult only home. While she has not shown aggression towards the children in her foster home she can startle easily and therefore is not suitable for a home with children.
- An only dog home. Bella can interact with some dogs however it takes a long introduction period and a dog with the right temperament so she would not be suited to a home with another dog.
- No cats or other small animals.
- A decent size yard.
- Regular exercise, play and mental stimulation.
She knows sit, drop and is learning to stay on her bed inside for 30 minutes at the moment. She is toilet trained and sleeps soundly in her crate all night.
She LOVES her food and would love to learn some new tricks! She is a very fast learner!
She enjoys car rides and eagerly jumps in but has only had short drives with her foster carer.
Bella is learning to feel safe around other dogs and can react if she’s not handled correctly. She is not be suitable for dog parks or public off lead areas. With training Bella has become a joy to walk on lead. She can be very strong though so she will need someone who can physically handle her while her training continues. She is currently walked using a safe head halter.
Overall, Bella is very sweet, affectionate, playful and smart. She needs an owner who is committed to her ongoing training and setting her up for success.
Bella will come with 6 months free access to her foster carers online training program.
When sending an enquiry please include some information about the people in your home and the type of lifestyle you can offer Bella.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
