George

George is a handsome two year old Kelpie x with lots of character. Before arriving in foster care, he had spent most of his life on a chain and can be nervous in new situations and surroundings.

Despite his rough start, George is a very loveable boy who just wants to be with you and wants to please. He is very trainable and extremely loyal. He keeps you in his sights when off lead and has good recall. George walks well on lead and loves travelling in the car. He also enjoys going on bike rides with his foster carer.

George is a strong energetic boy and will thrive with ongoing training. He needs to be in a home where he is definitely part of the family and given regular training and exercise. He gets along well with female dogs but not other males, so he is not suited to dog parks. He is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets.
