About Onyx
This large boy is just divine. Onyx is sweet, affectionate and very well mannered. He's a great combination of playful & chilled out. Will amuse himself with toys if his foster brother is not up to playing and enjoys games of chasies, zoomies & bitey face! Loves toys and the yard looks like someone has tipped out the whole toy box!!!
He is great in the car, although hesitant to get in, is ok to be left at home alone with another dog, hasn't chewed or destroyed anything in the house, fully house trained, sleeps well at night (albeit on your bed and as close to you as he can get!), wakes a little earlier than I'd like but will easily re-settle after a toilet break & a treat.
Onyx is a happy, friendly boy who will share his space & toys and is fine around food. He walks well on lead, has good basic manners and can be a little jumpy when excited.
Overall, Onyx is a super easy, funny, adorable boy who deserves an awesome family.
We're looking for a home with another playful, friendly dog at home (medium to large) and a family that is home more often than not, as he really loves humans and will stick near you & cuddle up to you.
A good amount of fun & adventure in his life would be ideal, has opportunities to run & stretch his long legs, a good daily walk & definitely needs to be a mostly inside dog & sleep inside. A great sunny spot to snooze the day away would be great.
We'd want you to be committed to giving Onyx the best life, full of love and snuggles, some additional training where required and the physical & mental stimulation he requires.
If interested in this beautiful boy, please head on over to our Fetching Dogs website and fill in an application form.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
