About Betty
Hi! I’m Betty and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.
What I need in my new home:
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate who is gentle and calm would be nice as im happy to hang out with other dogs but I don’t want to play with them.
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Short regular walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• NO CATS, I have previously lived with a cat however would like to chase them
Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats or small animals as I find them fun to chase
My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit and shake hands
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Social butterfly
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Housetrained and used to being allowed inside
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I appear to be quiet vocal at times when left alone initially - a family who has a lot of time for me, allow me indoors and leave me with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended
• I walk well on lead, unless I want to go in another direction, then I tend to pull harder.
