Zeke & Ruby ~ (On Trial 31/07/21)

Meet Zeke and Ruby, Maltese X both aged about 10 years old. They weigh about 6.5 kg each. A more sweet, gentle, loving bonded pair you couldn’t meet. Zeke can be a little more outgoing than Ruby. Ruby is quieter and a little timid. Of all the fosters I have cared for these two are up there. If I didn’t have 5 already I would be attempted to adopt them myself. Parting with them will not be easy.

Zeke and Ruby love their walks. Zeke being a little exuberant with excitement. When Zeke is aware he is about to be walked he lets out a very excited cry. They travel well in cars although Zeke just wants to sit beside you at the front. They are not barkers, but if they can see out the front window and a dog passes by they will react. They both fitted in here with my 5 other doggies instantly. They sleep all night without a sound. They both love their food and eat well. Along with my other dogs they just like to follow me around and love nothing more than just being with me.

They like to play chasing with my other doggies in the backyard and love nothing more than to bask in the sun on my deck to recuperate. They both sleep in my bedroom, Zeke has managed to manoeuvre himself onto my bed. They are fully house trained although when they first arrived we had a few accidents due to new surroundings and wondering what was happening to them. Very normal for dogs settling into new environments.

Little Zeke has been known to have a few ear infections over time. Ruby has an elongated soft palate which causes her breathing sometimes to be a bit raspy and she can snore at night sometimes. I have all their medical records for perusal. They are both non shedding thus requiring grooming every couple of months.

These two darling munchkins would suit a retired couple or person who can give them the love and care they richly deserve. They must be inside doggies. Yard needs to be extremely secure because previous owners said Zeke has a tendency to squeeze himself through any tiny opening.

Zeke and Ruby are in foster care in Newcastle Region NSW and not available for adoption interstate. Zeke and Ruby’s adoption fee is $700.00. They are vaccinated, desexed treated for worms and microchipped.
