About Daisy & Milo - Assisted Rehome
This dynamic duo is Daisy & Milo.....2 gorgeous Border Collies who are looking for a home together and ideally on property. Both dogs have grown up around young children and good with other dogs. Not tested with cats.
Daisy is almost 6yrs old and known as Wheaten/white in colour. She’s an extremely active girl who is completely ball/toy focused. Whilst she is great around children, she has been known to knock over the littlies to chase after a ball or frisbee being thrown, but never with any intent on causing harm to them. Daisy enjoys her walks and loves to swim (although not keen on the waves at the beach). She does tend to pull on the leash at the beginning of a walk but will settle after a short time.
Milo is almost 5yrs old and Chocolate/white in colour. He follows Daisy constantly when she’s on the chase for her toys, but more focused on her rather than the toys. He is the more chilled of the 2 and would be quite happy to lay at your feet or give you kisses. Milo is great on lead and will walk beside you, loves to swim and just enjoys the company of his people and of course, Daisy.
Both dogs sleep outdoors in their kennel and have been allowed inside on occasion. Daisy is toilet trained, but Milo has been known to mark his territory at times when indoors. They will need regular brushing/grooming to keep their coats tangle free.
Daisy & Milo are up to date with vaccinations, heart worm protected and desexed. They are also lifetime registered.
Border Collies are herding dogs and highly intelligent and trainable. They have an overwhelming urge to gather a flock.....That could be anything from kids, cats, possums or anything that moves (including cars). This instinct cannot be trained out of them, but rather redirected.....ie with obedience training, flyball or agility. They will often excel in various canine sports due to their energy and intelligence.
We would love to see Daisy & Milo be rehomed on a farm/property with people who understand the Border Collie breed and their needs. They are not escape artists, but will need height appropriate fencing to keep them safe. If you feel you can provide these beautiful babies with the life they truly deserve, then please send us an enquiry, explaining why you think they would be your perfect doggie companions.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
