About Callie
Callie....Top model looks, but no interest in being one.
Hi everyone,
I am Callie and though I am sure you will agree I am stunningly beautiful and could be a top model any day, but the model life is not for me. Why you ask? The answer is cuddles. I am addicted to them. As soon as I see someone I think may let me do a glide by leg smooch, give me a long caress along my beautiful coat, a scratch under the chin I just come running. Camera or no camera.
You can’t blame me can you. I know I should be good and sit still so a great photo can be taken of me to help me get a forever home but affection is what I live for. Nothing in life is better.
I feel the same way about my foster siblings as I do my humans. I look to them for company and affection. My canine siblings know they have to be gentle with me so I am able to give them cuddles too. There is absolutely no one I have met yet that I didn’t like.
My foster mum says it’s very special to be as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside, but I only want you to love me as much as I know I will love you.
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
