About Gus
*In foster care in Bossley Park, Sydney*
Gregarious Gus could illustrate the word 'happy' in the dictionary! This sociable, easygoing young boy seems to have a constant smile on his face, and adores a good cuddle with his foster humans.
Gus also loves playtime, other friendly cats, and pulling the tea towels off their racks in the kitchen :) He's going to make an amazing companion for his lucky new person, couple or family!
Like all Maggie's pets, Gus is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be really interactive, with lots of hands-on affection and playtime. I enjoy exploring, batting the blind cords against the wall (you might want to tie them up if the noise drives you crazy!), and curling up on human beds - preferably with a human in the bed too!
If you work from home, you won't miss out on your social life with me around to keep you company all day :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I tend to have big bursts of activity, then conk out for hours. Typical cat energy, really! The good news is that I‘ll usually sleep at night when you do, then wake around 6am wondering where my breakfast is ;)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I haven't met any kids at this stage, playtime is pretty much my favourite thing! So chances are I'll get on well with gentle, cat-loving children.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've made lots of kitty pals in my foster home! I love racing around the house with them, snuggling up to them and getting groomed by them (sometimes I even groom them back!) - though I can get a bit territorial over some toys, like my mousie.
I haven't had a chance to meet any dogs yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
