About Simba Jnr
Due to COVID-19 border closures Simba can only be adopted in NSW and ACT.
Simba is a twenty one month old German Shepherd, whose family have had to make the decision to find him a new home, as they don't have enough time for him.
SImba is a very active dog, and so needs a home that understand German Shepherds and have owned one recently. SImba needs and active home, and one where he will be an integral family member.
Simba is good with children but sometimes jumps up and can knock small children over. So he would suit a home with older children that have lived with a German Shepherd or large breed dog.
Simba is not suited to a home with other dogs or cats.
Simba walks well on his lead and has had some training but may need more socialisation with other dogs.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what he will give in abundance when he connects and build that trust with his new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned a German Shepherd, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Simba.
If you think you can give him a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Simba".
Medical notes
Simba is microchipped, and vaccinated and will be desexed once COVID lockdown is over and our vet is doing surgery.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
