About Rosie
Meet the beautiful and ever loving Rosie.
This gorgeous girl is an absolute sweetheart, who loves cuddles with her humans and to play.
At the ripe age of 7, Rosie is full of so much life and ready for the fun to begin. Squeaky toys are her fave toy to play with, but as long as there’s something to pick from, she is one happy girl.
Cuddles, can there ever be enough cuddles? Rosie does not think so! This ever loving, super cuddle monster loves to snuggle in and lap up all the attention where she can. If you’re ready for a cosy night in, catching up on your latest binge series, Rosie is happy to accompany you on the couch while you do so.
Rosie is a goofball at heart, and such a fun and happy girl to be around, she really lights up everyone's day with her cute and funny antics. Just one of her little tidbits that will make you laugh, is she is scared of a hose, but yet absolutely loves to soak and bathe in a kiddy pool during summer.
Food is just another one of Rosie's favourite things (I mean, who doesn't enjoy a good feast) and she is tipping the 38kg mark.
A few small walks around the block would be a good way to keep this girl active, and maybe, shave off a couple of those extra kilos. She is healthy, but I guess we would all be happy if a couple kilos dropped off those scales!
Rosie is fit as a fiddle when it comes down to her vet visits, but does have a little benign fatty lump on her side which the vets have shown no concern over for the last few years.
Rosie is a social butterfly, and currently lives with 2 little dogs and a cat, which she adores. Being a friendly and playful girl, she would love to have a 4 legged friend to play with, but it isn't compulsory if her new family enjoys playing.
Although she doesn't live with kids, she has such a beautiful, friendly nature, and would not have any problems with them.
During the evening, Rosie sleeps indoors and likes to snuggle up on her blanket to go to sleep. In winter when it's cold, she does like to be a little sneaky, and really enjoys a cuddle in bed with you.
Rosie's ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time, and has plenty of time to give her lots of love and affection. Having Kelpie in her, playing and a few short walks weekly would be ideal. Rosie would fit really well into a calm home, with a single person, couple or family. As mentioned, having another pet isnt necessary, if she is guaranteed to get all the humanly love possible.
Rosie’s adoption is an assisted adoption through PetRescue’s Home2Home Program. You will be speaking with Rosie’s owner directly when you enquire.
Medical notes
Rosie does have a benign fatty lump on her hip, which the Vets have been monitioring and shown no concern over the last few years.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of adoption fee. Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
