About Pixie ~ 2yr Aussie Shep (On Trial 20/08/21)
Meet Pixie - a 2 year old Mini Aussie Shepherd. She is on the tiny side at 8kg and very sweet.
Pixie loves to stomp around the house collecting socks and toys. She is crate trained and toilet trained.
Pixie needs a home with women (adults) only. Pixie does not do well with men and children as she is quite scared of both, and a household with men and small children will not be considered.
Pixie does well with medium and large dogs. Pixie does not do well with cats or small dogs as she can get a little bossy.
Pixie has been returned to DRN for the above reasons of suitability, and therefore unfortunately homes with the above can't be considered for adoption. Enquiries or applications which include men or small children will unfortunately not be answered to and will not be taken further in the process. Pixie is a stunning girl, and very popular with families, however we must outline these very specific requirements for her benefit. We do so in her best interest.
For more information about Pixie or to enquire please email Brigid on brigid_k@hotmail.com
If you are a single lady, or couple without children and wanting a new best friend, please send through an online application https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Please allow our carers 48-72hours to respond to enquiries and suitable applications.
Adoption fee is $600, Pixie is desexed, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
Currently in foster care in Cardiff NSW.
Would prefer a local adoption due to current COVID travel restrictions. Interstate and sight unseen adoptions will not be considered under any circumstances. We understand this is a difficult and frustrating time for some, however we have a process we must follow and the safety of our carers and fosters is our highest priority.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
