About Grody
Grody the 6 and 1/2 year old Fox Terrier X finds himself at BARC looking for a new forever home within an active environment.
This distinguished well-mannered gentleman is set in his ways but has all the basic commands down pat. He loves a pat, will do anything for a tasty treat and has proven quiet dog social whilst in our care.
Being a little dog of a certain age he is probably best suited to a home with an older active person/couple, however he would also love the hustle and bustle of family life as long as your kids were older than 10 and understood that Grody occasionally needs his own space.
Suitable to live with another well socialised, calm canine companion, Grody has not been in a home previously with cats or other small fluffy animals. He greets staff every morning with a wag of his tail and is out of bed ready to face the day. Always looking for attention, this sweet boy has mastered a begging stance and can drop puppy dog eyes like none other.
All that this wonderful boy asks for in return for his loyalty and companionship is an indoor/outdoor home, with a comfy bed, perhaps a spot on the couch and a biscuit whilst you settle in for the night to watch his favourite movie "The secret Life of Pets"
Available to meet and greet 23/07/21

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
