About Altaria & Suicune
Altaria & Suicune are requiring a very calm and stress-free environment without other animals and young children. We are also not sure how old they actually are but they would love a forever home where they can live stress-free for the remainder of their lives.
Altaria (female) is very strongly bonded with Suicune (male). She is very independent and is the dominant one of the pair. Altaria is very wary of people and will run away if you approach her and can be very difficult to catch when let outside the cage. She has developed a habit of sitting in the feed bin when eating. She doesn’t have any balance issues; she just enjoys that spot.
Suicune is very strongly bonded with Altaria and enjoys following her around. As he becomes more comfortable with his new home, he should become less clingy and spend more time socialising with others in the flock. He is slightly tamer than Altaria, but still wary of people.
As they are a male/female bonded pair, potential adopters should be prepared for the possibility of eggs. Please note they are NOT to be used for any breeding. Their favourite toy/place to sleep is on the woven grass hammock. They would love a home together where they will have some free flight time. They love fresh fruit and veggies.
Medical notes
Both Altaria & Suicune do not currently have any known medical conditions.
Adoption details
After you make contact via the enquiry button, we will send you an application form that is required to be completed in full. By providing as much detail as possible, we are able to gage how well your circumstances will fit your possible new friend. You will be notified of the outcome of your application.
All animals are adopted, never sold, and an adoption contract is required in each case.
We generally bring the animal(s) to you and reserve the right the inspect the housing and garden at this time. That marks the beginning of a 30 day trial adoption period.
We are committed to supporting you throughout the life of the animal you adopt, so we are here for advice or assistance where possible. We want you and your new family member to have a long happy life together so we will do what we can to ensure this.
