About Belle
Hi guys, I'm Belle and I am the sweetest, most gentle giant you will meet this side of the tracks.
They tell me I'm a senior gal, but I believe that age doesn't matter and it's how young you feel on the inside that counts! I'm happy to go for a daily walk or have a little play in the backyard, with long naps in between. I'm toilet trained and if you let me have a quick toilet outside before bed I last through the night. And then I sleep like a trooper in my own, big, comfy bed somewhere in your room.
I like to have company and would love to live with someone who is home more often than not or with a friendly, easy-going doggy friend. If you find yourself working from home or have a dog-friendly workplace, I'm a great work companion!! I've lived with a larger, chilled-out dog with my foster family and was quite happy, so with the right companion I could be fine with another dog. I don't know about cats as I have not met many in the past.
I'll always let you know when I'm hungry and my foster mum has been feeding me with this wonderful toy called a KONG and she says it brings out my quirky personality. So if you are looking for an older and lovable pooch to join your family, one who will be loving and loyal to you until the end, then I might be the one for you!
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
