Darling Luna – where do we start!

Luna is the most loyal and and true-hearted old soul there is!

Luna needs a family that will be patient, loving and understanding of her behaviour as, with age, she is really quite tender. She loves to talk and will always let you know if she needs her space and hopes that you will respect that.

Once you become familiar with her communication style, she will be your absolute best friend and never want to leave your side. Although she can be very cautious when meeting new people, so please do not be discouraged or offended if she does not welcome you with open arms at first.

Luna does however, seem to be more cautious towards children and men in particular though has proven to have a loving, affectionate and respectful relationship with her foster Dad currently – but she is certainly open to new men in her life.

Luna loves her walks! She is fantastic on the lead – never pulls and enjoys to roam freely. She will never go to far if taken off the lead and will always check to make sure you’re close by. She is fully house trained and enjoys her quiet time on the couch during the day with her human friends.

Luna has Cushing's Disease, this is a lifelong disease that is expensive and will need to be well managed, requiring ongoing medication daily and regular dosage testing.

She has come a long way in her current foster home and is well on her way to being the perfect weight. Luna will require a family that is open to continually assisting with her weight management journey and providing her with a loving and trusting home.
