About Lexi
Get a load of those ears!
Lexi is a beautiful, sweet natured, quirky and playful 2 year old medium (21kg) bull Arab X koolie girl who has taken to foster care in her stride! She has her foster carers in fits of laughter every day with her hilarious zoomies, quirky antics and loving personality. From the moment she came in, this little girl has stolen the show. She loves people, is incredibly affectionate and needs her human cuddles multiple times a day! Once she gets to know a new dog, she exudes playful energy. She likes canine companionship so having some doggy friends will be fun, so a home with a good socialisation life style would suit this girl perfectly!
She is a breeze to walk on lead and enjoys her daily morning walks. She is the perfect mix of playful energy whilst also enjoying relaxing on the back porch throughout the day. This girl loves being by your side and is therefore looking for a family that includes her in daily activities and allows her inside the home especially at night time. She will thrive with a lot of attention, training and guidance, so is searching for a committed and interactive family who is willing to give her what she deserves and more!
She would love to go to some group training sessions so she can continue her training with other dogs around her. She would suit being an only dog if the family is home with her more often than not, so no full time workers if she’s an only pooch.
She will also make a great furry sibling for a family with an existing dog, but she will need a dog who is a mix of playful and guiding as she has missed out on some key socialisation at a young age so isn't quite understanding of doggie behaviours. She may suit being in a home with full time workers if there is another existing and well matched dog in the home.
Lexi hasn't been tested with cats but isn't suitable to a home with pocket pets or free range poultry so we would recommend a home without any of these, but she is good with dog savvy kids over the age of 7 years. Lexi hasn't shown any escaping tendencies so will suit fencing 5ft or over.
Lexi is ready to leave for her new home now and she is located in foster care in the Newcastle area. Her adoption fee is $500.
