About Rebel
Hi I’m Rebel, I am a gorgeous 5 year and 8 month old French Bulldog
My foster mum has said it has been a pleasure having me as a foster as I’m an awesome cuddle buddy who is happy to chill when it’s quiet time and I am loving learning how to play when it’s play time
I came into care a few weeks ago and I have blossomed – I have always been a happy loving girl but since I’ve been with my foster mum I have also showed her lots of love and some good laughs.
I definitely enjoy having the company of a human with me, I have always been around other dogs and I’m fine with them, except if they take my teddy bear from me – then I will yell at them – it’s only one specific toy so I don’t like to share it.
My dream home would be with someone who either works from home or doesn't work and is a home body. I am still working on being a big girl when new people arrive as I do get nervous but as long as people don’t rush me and let me get used them I’m all good.
Since I’ve been in care I have met a few different size and age dogs and I am fine with them, but if I can have a vote I would love a home where there is maybe one other dog or no dogs and it’s calm and quiet – I would love a home where I will be able to be part of the family and even be taken with my family on outings – that would be great.
I am great on the lead and do enjoy going for a walk.
I have had a few litter of babies but since I came into care the rescue has desexed me and they said now it’s all about me hee hee. Speaking of about me my foster mum gives me these awesome baths which she says makes me smell so pretty and she has introduced me to a hair dryer after the bath – I like that warm air on me drying me off.
My foster mum says I have to advise you that I do have a tendency to hide my ‘special toy’ and I pick such awesome spots it can take 20 minutes to find – my foster mum mentioned something about she will just get duplicates now so she’ snot doing the great treasure hunt.
My foster mum says I have shown a bit too much interest in cats and she thinks I would do better in a home without any.
I am child friendly but screaming kids or really high energy kids do make me nervous and I do not want to be carried around by children please.
I am toilet trained
I am a girl who now enjoys the luxury of an indoor life and have great indoor manners. I do like to spend some time outside doing my thing so I would like to have the best of both worlds - inside and outside access when I want.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
