About Sophie
She may be small, but she certainly has a lot of love when you get passed her shell!
A Jack Russell Terrier x Cattle born on December 17th, 2018, Sophie is looking forward to finding her happy ever after.
Sophie is a shy girl who can be tentative at first, but when she opens up she is such a friendly and affectionate girl.
She will be looking for a family or person who is prepared to give her the time and patience she needs to settle in and open up.
Sophie loves people and receiving pats and cuddles from them! While she enjoys making other doggy friends, she can be a little nervous at first so would rather meet calmer and smaller dogs. Ally is just so sweet she also doesn't mind the company of cats, chickens or rabbits. Though she has tested well with pocket pets, we suggest a slow introduction as they are not free roaming here at the facility.
She shows no signs of food aggression, but she does show signs of separation anxiety. She is scared of loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where she knows she is safe.
Sophie is such a sweet and affectionate gal, who with patience, training and consistency would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. She is so stunning and full of love, and she would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Sophie will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Sophie's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration along with discounted training sessions with thanks to Dog Ed Daycare & Training. She is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
