FOSTER WITH A VIEW TO ADOPT

Placement needed urgently for this beautiful pup Roxy.

Roxy is only around 9 weeks old but has not had the best start in life. This sweet wee girl was rescued from a farm, along with her sisters; all three girls were going to be shot! It's hard to imagine this heartbreaking reality.

Thankfully that has been avoided but Roxy still needs a very special home.
We believe that she has been kept outside and probably in a pen or cage with restricted human handling.

She is fearful of people, other dogs and stimuli in her environment. She will run and hide rather than approaching so needs to be coaxed to you.

Roxy has only just come off the farm so she's dealing with a lot of change and stress. We're confident that she can have a great life ahead of her as a loved family member. But she needs a family who are experienced dog people with lots of patience and love to give.

Roxy is looking for a mature family with kids over 12 years or no kids in the house.
A confident, friendly, social dog in the home may be great to help her.
She will need to attend a group training course with her new family, to help her build confidence and form a strong bond

Being a working breed through and through, she will be an intelligent, switched-on young lady who will thrive in a home where she has opportunities every day to exercise both her body and her mind. Ongoing training and maybe a doggy sport like agility will give her a chance to show what she's capable of and help her with her confidence too.

Roxy is not a perfect, 'easy' puppy but she's a special girl who deserves all the best. If you really want to 'rescue' a puppy in need, she's for you.

We are looking to place her as a foster pup initially so her new family can get to know her before committing to adoption.

Adoption fee will be $520, including first vaccination, microchip and desexing to be done at 6 months
