About Amber
Meet our tough little cookie Amber!
Amber came to us a very sick little kitty indeed, she was malnourished, had a bloated wormy belly, was FIV positive and was dehydrated. Once she was stabilized after a few days in our care she went downhill again with some serious breathing issues! Luckily she was staying with one of our nurses who rushed her straight to the vet where she was diagnosed with lungworm!
Fortunately lungworm is treatable and she was on the mend in no time. Amber would not give up and despite her rough start to life, she was always a playful little kitten who loves a chin scratch.
Even though Amber is a little sweetheart she does have her limits, she doesn't like to be picked up and carried anywhere, she prefers to plonk on her back and receive her pats and chin scratches whilst purring her little heart out.
She is a very playful kitten and loves her toys! She doesn't want to share her home with dogs and prefers an adults only household.
We are covering another FIV test for Amber when she is old enough to check whether she is indeed FIV positive as with kittens this can be because her mother was. In the meantime, not going home with another cat will be ideal or one that is fully vaccinated against FIV.
If you want the chance to love and help a sweet kitten who has not had the best start and meet all the requirements, then please apply today!
