About Poppy
Poppy was surrendered to the RSPCA by the previous owner. We have some prior history.
When it comes to relationships, I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little (some) time, and I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. My perfect day would be waking up on your bed, having a nap on your lap while you watch TV, and having scratches on my tummy in the afternoon. I'm such a smoochy cat, and I would love to spend a lot of time with you.
I need to go home with some experienced cat owners as I've been a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment. I don't mind older kids as long as they are gentle.
I'd like to go to a home with no other cats.
I love being with people so I'd like to stay inside with you. I would really enjoy having an outdoor cat run to play in!

Adoption details
RSPCA Victoria operates on an adoption-by-application model. When browsing our available animals, there is an option to submit an application to adopt. Once an application has been submitted, the applicant will be contacted with information on next steps. Please note we will be unable to book adoption appointments at our sites unless this application has been received.
