Female Domestic Short Hair Mix Cat
I've been adopted!
Bella was surrendered to the RSPCA Animal Care Centre as her family was expecting another child and Bella was too active and playful. They were worried that she might hurt the baby. It was good that she got here when she did, as when she was sent for desexing the vets found she had a pyometra. This is a serious infection in her uterus and could have been life threatening if left any longer. This condition can be easily prevented by desexing female cats when they are young.
Bella is settling down now, but has not been taught very good manners. She loves people, put can get a bit rough when playing. This is commonly caused by rough play being encouraged when they are kittens. By playing with Bella with 'wand style' toys and training her to be gentle with people, she will learn that she doesn't need to use claws to get love.
