Gus is a soft sweet Kelpie boy who hasn’t been treated well. He was too soft for farm work so the farmer beat him and starved him. He was a scared skinny pup when a kind horse trainer saved him and bought him to the city for a better life.
Since he has been with us he has been nothing but an angel. He has some funny habits , wobbles when he wakes up, and he still needs training on the lead, but overall he is a lovely sweet boy who deserves to be loved by a kind person or family. He isn’t high energy, but he loves to play, loves toys, loves treats and loves to sleep . Going in the car seemed like a scary experience for him, so he’s still learning to enjoy that. He will need someone who is patient , and in it for the long haul.
