ABOUT CELEBRATION
-*- MY STORY -*-
I am not feral, but I was left to my own devices for a long time.
I was found as a wandering kitty with no humans to take care of me. I was found with my 4 kittens in tow, FIV+, a nasty break in my tail, and with quite a lot of battle scars, as well as a tremendous fear of dogs.
My foster mum suspects I was owned as a kitten, and then left behind when I grew up.
For these reasons I need an experienced foster carer or adopter only. I love the humans that look after me, but it will be a long, long road before I am ready to trust them with everything.
I need someone with a gentle touch who enjoys my company but doesn't want to pick me up or have a lap cat. I enjoy a gentle pat and I LOVE LOVE LOVE to be brushed!
-*-*-*- MY PERFECT HOME -*-*-*-
1. No cats please. My love of other felines began and ended with my son and three daughters. Any other cats? This town ain't big enough for the two of us sorry.
2. No dogs. They smell and are noisy.
3. If you have kids, teenagers only please.
4. I am food insecure. I love your company but if you try to touch my food I will : ) commit : ) crimes : )
I am looking for either a new foster carer or my fur-ever adoption.
I will need someone with a big heart, lots of patience, and plenty of snacks to take care of me. I'm looking for a true rescuer.
Please give me a chance to show you how much I can grow and learn to love again.
One day, I'll be your best friend, if you can wiggle your way into my heart
Celebration is available to very special applicants only at this stage for a new foster or fur-ever home. Her foster carer will carefully interview you and the meet and greet may take some time. She is looking for a true rescuer home
Her dream home is an apartment or duplex, with no other pets and no small children due to her fears.
BEHAVIOUR NOTES:
Fearful of humans and other animals, shy around her face and head
MEDICAL NOTES:
FIV+ cats can live with other cats with the correct vaccination, or with other FIV+ cats. FIV is primarily spread via deep bites so is often not an issue within a home environment.
Celebration has been exposed to Cat Flu but currently presents no symptoms.
She has previously had a broken tail, which has now healed and does not affect her in any way.
