About Barney
Beautiful Barney is looking for the love of his life in the shape of an active, adventurous family who want him to be one of the crew!
Barney is a giant pup!
He sadly spent most of his short life on a chain and starved. He hasn't let this get him down though, he loves people and is so happy! His tail is always wagging!
However, he will need some dedication to training. In saying that, Barney is a fast learner and has learnt sit, stay and is getting better with leash and indoor manners!
Barney seriously adores people! He is full of beans but knows how to be gentle with children(he is big so kids over 5 is best) and he is eager to please!
Barney would be ok with a calm, we'll adjusted dog who can show him the way of good behaviour but also wouldn't mind a play!
He would be best with people home more often than not and high fences.
We have not tested Barney with cats and with his high energy and love to play, a cat free home will be needed.
Barney is the coolest, goofiest most loving boy and deserves the absolute diamond if homes!

Adoption details
Please send our friendly volunteers an email about yourself and we will reply to you as soon as possible. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt:
- payment is made
- a quick property check is conducted for dogs
-then you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We have a 2 week trial period so if this pet is not the perfect fit for you we will supply you with a full refund minus a $50 administration fee within the trail period. We will also take the adopted pet back at any stage should you be unable to care for them any longer.
