Seraphina is a petite black cat with a heart of pure gold. And despite all the challenges life has thrown at this girl, Seraphine she has kept her loving, sweet and gentle ways about her.

Seraphina was found abandoned in an overgrown backyard of an empty house. She had been staring into an empty food bowl for days before she was rescued. She was underweight and desperate for help.

In foster care, Seraphina had access to regular food for the first time in a long time. She has started to put on weight but will need a home willing to help her continue to build up her condition.

Seraphina has been given a clean bill of health from our vet. She is FIV negative and is only just over 8 months old. She is slightly underweight however, in time and with ready access to dry and wet food, Seraphina will fill out and grow into her gorgeous self.

Although she is quite a petite girl, Seraphina has a huge heart. She absolutely loves people of all ages and thrives on being patted and given your attention. She doesn’t mind being picked up but prefers to give you head bops and wrap herself around your arms and legs like an octopus.

The only thing that Seraphina doesn’t like is other cats (and, we suspect, dogs). She becomes terrified around other cats and will growl and hiss until the cat is no longer present. We suspect she has been attacked by another cat at some point in her life as she gets very fearful. For this reason, Seraphina needs a home where she will be the only pet.

In return, this girl will give you everything. She is great company for someone living alone, a couple who want a fur baby to dote on or a family where there are endless hands to pat and give her chin scratches. She has a lovely inner calm about her that is very soothing.

Seraphina has a lovely purr and she is very fond of paw paddling on the pink blanket in her room. This blanket will need to go with her when she moves to her forever home as she adores it!

Seraphina is a quite kitty and she will need some reassurance when she moves to her new home. We recommend a quiet room for the first few days and then a slow introduction to the home after that. She doesn’t need loads of space so she would also be well suited to apartment living as well as in a house.
