Magician

Hello! I am the handsome and mysterious Dark Magician, but the staff at the shelter call me Magician for short.

I am a gentle soul who hasn't been able to experience much in my life, so I find new things quite overwhelming. Traffic, city noises, crowds, running children are all things I that frighten me quite a lot. I need a quiet home away from these things with gentle, experienced owners that can help me grow in confidence.

I also need owners who will be strong and advocate for me around strangers, as I do not enjoy being approached and touched by people I don't know.

Once I get to know you, I am very sweet and enjoy some gentle chin scratches. I do need indoor and outdoor access with a safe place I can retreat to if I feel overwhelmed and need some space.

I have been quite tolerant of other dogs while at the shelter, and may benefit from having a calm, confident doggy housemate to show the me how to live in the human world.
