Ziggy

Hi! My name is Ziggy.

First things first - I'm not ignoring you, I love people! I'm just a bit hard of hearing these days so it may take me a moment before I see you. But don't worry, just give me a wave and I'll be sure to wag my tail enthusiastically right back at you.

If you know cavaliers, you know that the way to my heart is through my stomach. In fact, I love my food so much that sometimes I worry that someone might take it away. So I need to go to a family with all members over 12 years old to make sure I can eat in peace without feeling like I have to protect my food from curious fingers.

My favourite things - after food of course! - are people, pats and walks. I walk nicely on a lead, although I can get a little barky out of excitement when I see other dogs. But I will do ANYTHING for food so I can learn anything you teach me, including keeping my eyes on you when we walk. I already know Sit and Down (with a hand signal of course).

Another talent I have is that I can sleep through anything! So while I am always ready to keep you company, I can also nap away my time when you are busy. I'm an easy guy to please!

One thing you need to know is that I haven't lived indoors before so I will need outdoor access while you housetrain me if you will be having me indoors with you.
