About Shiloh ~ 3yr Old Husky(On Trial 31/7/21)
Meet Shiloh, a very fluffy and friendly 3 year old Husky. While timid at first, once she has warmed up to you she will be incredibly affectionate and your best friend.
Shiloh is learning to love walking and running, if you’re a runner then she’s a great reason to up your training to include her as your canine running buddy. She is quite strong and can pull on the lead still a little when getting excited, but regular walking with a harness will help her training in this area. During her walks, she has not shown much interest in other dogs or people, but is always friendly when approached.
She is food motivated and takes treats very gently. She gets very excited at dinner time and will jump around in circles which is a joy to watch. She has had basic training, but we are looking for a home that can continue this with her. She is a clever and affectionate girl, we are confident she can learn fast.
Shiloh is good with children and would suit a family with children 6 years and older. Families with an active lifestyle would be best, as Shiloh will need regular exercise and stimulation to keep her happy and healthy. Shiloh would be best suited to a home with another dog for company and one without smaller pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits etc. She hasnt been tested with cats or pocket pets.
She will love a medium-large sized grassy backyard with plenty of room to roam, explore and play. Her new home would require secure 6ft fencing with no gaps or holes. Unfortunately rural or mesh fencing will not be suitable for Shiloh.
Sweet Shiloh is searching for her new furever home, if you think your home and family tick all of Shiloh's boxes, please email Amanda on drn.amanda@hotmail.com
