GORDON the Great (Dane)

Our big beautiful almost 2 year old Gordon is looking for his forever family.
He is currently being fostered in Sale, Victoria.

Gordon loves his humans and needs to be around them as often as possible, and would not suit full time workers. He will be your shadow and cuddle bug. ♥️
He is a playful boy who loves running around like a horse, playing with his toys.
He is still learning how to walk on a lead without having to greet everyone he comes across and is still learning about the big wide outside world. He can be afraid of new things, reacting with a big bark. He and his foster carer have been working on his training and he is currently being crate trained, so he has a safe and secure place to go to when needed. FSDR will include a complimentary training session as part of Gordon’s adoption fee.

Gordon requires a single person or couple with no children to be his forever family and they also must have no other dogs. (We can give you further information regarding reasons for this if you are a suitable family). We are looking for a family with large breed experience (particularly Danes) who can continue to develop Gordon’s confidence but also teach him about life (along with some boundaries).

Gordon has shown to be good with other dogs, however he prefers to get all of the love in his home. He is ok with cats, but will need slow introduction and close supervision for some time until they work one another out.

Gordon is Desexed, Microchipped (92126052674021)Vaccinated, Heartworm negative, Flea, Tick, Worm & Heartworm treated.
He is currently being fostered in Sale, VIC and his adoption fee is $450.
