ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS -- MATURE HOUSEHOLD, EXPERIENCED HOME -- OTHER CATS CONSIDERED, NO DOGS -- NO KIDS -- NO APARTMENTS/UNITS, NEEDS A BIG HOUSE

Meet Clancy! Surrendered to the shelter as he was just not coping in the life of an apartment, Clancy has spent some time getting to know staff, and adjusting to shelter life. He is still quite a nervous cat, but has slowly begun to come out of his shell. He much prefers to initiate contact and isn't what we would call a needy cat, we suspect he will enjoy a home that doesn't expect much of him - that being said, when he wants pats he is loooovely! Clancy has previously had access to the outdoors, and while we don't encourage cats to roam, we do believe he will benefit from supervised outside time, and would LOVE a cat run. He has been fairly polite with other cats, even interested, so with the right cat and slow introductions he might be fine. He is not suitable to live with kids, and should go to a home with cat experience.
