💛💙 MEET WAYNE💙💛
Hi Good People, Wayne here. I am a bit of a scaredy kitten who has in care for a little while now and three of my siblings have been lucky enough to find their forever families, so I am really hoping now my turn is just around the corner.
My siblings and I were born and raised in someone's backyard where we were a little spoiled by our cat mum who kept us safe and protected away from prying hoomans - but now it’s time for me to be brave and branch out on my own. I will need a very special family to take me under their wing and help me along the way to becoming the most purrfect companion.
Nature
Foster Mum says I am a sweet boy but I a smidge skittish as I am not yet convinced that hoomans are safe. I think I am not being observed, I like to run around and play with my brother, Neville and when we’re tired we cuddle up with each other like a kitten heating hub. I am a little unsure about these funny hooman housemates of mine so for now I just like to watch from a distance - though they're trying ever so hard to play with me with these brightly coloured and flashy toys. I think it might work eventually, but for now it's all still a little new and scary.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with lots of other cats in my foster home, and a big doggo too. I seem to be ok with all the other animals here but I'll still need a slow introduction to any new furry friends in my new home. As I can still get scared easily, and might accidentally scratch someone in my panic, I am probably better suited to a home with older children who can be gentle with me, and know how to handle me to avoid catching a stray claw.
Likes / Dislikes
That’s easy! I like food and calm, patient hoomans. I dislike anything I am not used to about the hooman world; it’s taken me a little while not to scatter when the washing machine is turned on!
My PURR-fect home would be one where my hoomans are happy to take the time to make me feel safe and comfortable. This may mean providing me with a space of my own where I have everything that I need but where I can’t hide away from you while we are getting to know one another. This way you can spend one-on-one time helping me learn that hoomans are awesome, and convincing me that you’re my hooman forevermore!
