On Hold
About Tank ~ 2yr Old Fox Terrier X(On Hold 22/7/21)
Tank is a 2 year old Fox Terrier Cross, (we have nicknamed him Frankie). He is on the larger scale of being a small sized dog weighing in at 14kg. He is very friendly, loyal and intelligent, and only wants to be with, and please his owners. He thrives on affection and positive, gentle conversation.
He now lives with one other dog and on occasions a Border Collie who visits regularly to join us on our long walks. He needs a little more lead training as he tends to pull sometimes. He is always eager to go for a walk and greets all other dogs very happily. He has an easy going nature and will allow strangers to approach as well. He is learning to sit for his dinner and he comes when is is called.
He can be washed in the laundry tub and is easy to groom due to his short coat.
He is very people oriented and will not thrive if left home alone for long periods of time. He will dash to the gate with the other dogs to greet people but leaves the barking to the others. He’s just happy to tag along and be part of the gang and would benefit from sharing his new home with another dog. He is good in the car and likes the back seat with the other dogs on the dog hammock.
He is an indoor dog and has become house trained in only a week with access to outside via a dog door. He sleeps inside and loves to sleep in his crate at night.
He is an absolute pleasure to have in our home and will bring an enthusiastic and gentle nature to your home.
Only those people who have completed the online application will be considered. Please complete an application form here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
