About Freddo
Meet handsome Freddo, a Rottweiler x born 10th of March, 2015 who is looking forward to finding his forever home. While he patiently waits he is undergoing training with Luke and the team at Doggy Daycare Farm Trips.
Freddo isn’t too energetic though he is gaining more stamina every day as he trains on the farm. Freddo loves to go on walks and adventures, and although he is learning every day he would really benefit from loose lead training with his new owner. Thanks to Doggy Daycare Farm Trips who are providing free training as well as discounted sessions from DOG Ed Daycare and Training.
Freddo ended up with another shelter who adopted him out however this did to work out ad he was returned. This intern has created quite an independent dog in Freddo who is slow to let people into his inner circle. Luke says that Freddo is repoyndig well to his training, but believes that in order for him to go to the next level in his training the new owner will need to step into this role to create trust and a bond allowing Freddo to really excel in his training.
Freddo has been improving in leaps and bounds around other dogs. Playing, running and socialising alongside a few of our other pound pups undergoing training at the same time as Freddo. He still has room for improvement when meeting new dogs as he does display domain ad anti-social behaviours, but with the help of Luke, his new owner and important corrections with safe socialising, Freddo will improve greatly.
Freddo will need a very secure yard with at least 6 foot fencing and secure gates. He does show signs of separation anxiety (though with training this can be helped). Freddo will need someone that knows how to deal with this and committed to furthering his training.
Freddo's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, Free training with thanks to Doggy Daycare Farm Trips and 6 x discounted training lessons with thanks to DOG Ed Daycare and Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
