About Nev
What a distinguished gentleman Nev is, with such a dashing colour!
Nev is a 1.5 year old Greyhound, born on 1st November 2019.
Nev is a typical calm greyhound, but he can be a little reserved at first. One way to this handsome boys heart though, is getting out into the world to explore and exercise.
Nev walks beautifully on lead, though could learn more from a trainer to become well socialized and mannered. He has not shown any signs of food aggression or separation anxiety here at the facility.
Nev is becoming increasingly more affectionate each day so much so that he is starting to give lots of kisses and jump up for cuddles. Because he can be overwhelming and is nervous around children we believe he should go to a home without children.
Nev doesn't mind the company of other dogs, and though he doesn't mind how big or small they are, we suggest slow introductions. Nev cannot be rehomed with cats, chickens or rabbits.
Nev gets spooked by loud noises, so we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Nev is such a sweet young man, who would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. We know he is so full of love, and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Nev will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Nev's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and 6 x discounted training lessons with thanks to Dog Ed Day Care & Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Nev, please call the facility on 02 43044350 or email gosfordpound@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
You can be sure Nev will have a big greyhound smile on his dial meeting you.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
