About Thor ~ 9 Month Old Staffy x(On Trial 10/10/21)
Our sweet, cuddly boy Thor is a goofy 9 mth old puppy in need of a dedicated, loving and lucky home to keep up his training, and reap the rewards of this beautiful boy's love and affection. Thor's tail is always wagging, especially when he's following commands, and doing tricks, as he is always wanting to please. He adores his people, so, whether you're outside, or inside relaxing, he's just happy to be near you.
Thor is a previous DRN puppy and due to no fault of his own, he is looking for a new pawfect family!
Thor is a real sweetheart, he loves cuddles, tummy rubs and will sit on your feet while you read if you let him, snoring away. Thor is toilet-trained and will let you know that he needs to go to the toilet, but he does sleep through the night without fuss. He hasn’t had much training in his previous home so Thor will need his new family to take him to obedience training and dedicate time to his continued training, which he has started in foster care, which includes crate training. Thor is very food orientated, but is still learning to be attentive whilst walking, as the outside world still excites and distracts him. He also needs to go to a family that knows he needs to have a lot of exercise and mental stimulation or he will get bored. In foster care, Thor has been enjoying daily walks and runs.
As Thor loves his humans so much, we would like him to go where he is welcomed inside and can be involved in his new family’s life. It would be great if someone worked part time in the household. Thor loves other dogs but he can be too much for some dogs and hasn’t learnt to pick up on the queues that the other dog wants to stop playing. He's still learning not to jump up in excitement when he meets new people, despite being a gentle boy, so it would be best if Thor went to a home where children were older than eight.
Thor's happy attitude to life makes us constantly laugh, as do his floppy ears and "rollie pollies" around the yard when in the sun. He is a big puppy in need of a home that will dedicate time to his training, and there is no doubt he will be your best friend. Thor can’t wait to meet his forever family!
You will need good fencing with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.
