Sasha

Hello there, I am Sasha! I am an 8 year old lab, looking for my new forever home. 
I currently live with my foster family and they tell me I’m very pretty and affectionate. I just LOVE cuddles and all your attention! I simply love being close to you and lying at your feet while you’re working or watching TV, I mostly just snooze the day away. 

But don’t be fooled, I also love to play games and fetch. If you have a ball, I will be best friends. I’d also like something to chew on! I enjoy going out for walks and am quite good on the lead though I can pull. I get excited when meeting other humans, and will always try to see if I can get some pats. Meeting dogs, most of the time I check them out with a little sniff to say hi and try to be friendly. But I haven’t had a very social life, so I’m still getting used to meeting other dog friends and need patience and guidance as I learn. 

As you may know, us Labradors really do love food and my foster family says that I’ve enjoyed it a bit too much. I am now on a diet and this will need to continue in my new home.

What else can I say.. I’m looking for a loving home and will give lots of love in return. I am house trained and understand when you say sit, come and stay. But I will benefit from learning more, which shouldn’t be that hard as I love to please. I need a new home with a confident and experienced owner because I can be dominant. If there are other dogs in the home, I would like to meet them, to make sure we get along. Are you my new owner?

*Sasha is a dominant dog, who has been with another dog for most of her life. They do not walk well together and are quite reactive with other dogs. On her own walking Sash has been fine but she will need an experienced owner to help her through this transitional period. She has not been socialised or exercised. She has been around children and is apparently fine with cats but this has not been tested since she’s been in foster care. At the moment we think Sasha would benefit going into a home with another doggo buddy pending they get along. She will need a yard so please do not apply if you are in an apartment. This lovely lady will need someone capable of training her to become an even happier dog. She has a lovely relaxed nature and we want those characteristics to shine in her new home.
