Hi my name is Raven,

Kelpie

I am a female red Kelpie and I am about 15 months old and live with my foster family of two adults. When I arrived I was very scared after a long trip to Melbourne. As soon as I arrived at my new home I had a meal and a drink and go straight to sleep and I stayed there till the next morning. I have two meals a day, I am a very affectionate girl who will curl up beside you on the couch after the evening meal and watch TV with whoever is sitting there at the time. I respond to commands like “ sit" “stay" “eat" and am still learning the command “shake". I am house trained and will let you know when I require to go outside.

I love to go on long walks of 5 to 6 kilometres every day, and when I arrive home I love to play with a tennis ball in the backyard. I had never been on a lead until I moved in with my foster family and I pull pretty hard on it but with a little patience I am learning to walk on a lead. Have not been tested with cats, but don't get on with other dogs, until I am introduced and will accept them after a short period.

No other pets

A yard to play and sun bake

Inside outside girl

Daily walks is a must

I would fit in with an adult family with no young children, teenagers would be fine.

I am very fond of going on car trips.

I am now waiting very excitedly for my new adoption family to take me to my forever home.
