About Jake
If you love to run and play then Jake the dog is your guy!
Jake a Bull Terrier x born on the 17th of March, 2020, is looking forward to meeting you!.
Jake is full of confidence when it comes to meeting new people and doggy friends. walking, running or adventuring in new places certainly doesn't faze Jake one bit, as long as he is with you he is one very happy young chap. Jake will need someone who can provide the mental and physical stimulation that he needs. As Jake is so energetic and can jump very high, he will need a minimum of 6 foot fencing to ensure he stays secure in your yard.
Jake is so playful when it comes to other dogs, as long as they are submissive. He tends to like younger dogs and female more than adult males who could be perceived as more of a threat. Although he is friendly, he would benefit from professional socializing classes with a Trainer to better his social skills. When tested with cats he seemed unfazed, but chickens and rabbits can be fun to chase!
Knowing this we suggest a slow intro with any cats in residents as all of our cats are in enclosures not free roaming.
Jake does pull on the lead and although he is learning every day he will need an owner committed to training. We have provided 6x discounted training sessions with Dog Ed Daycare & Training to help Yoyo further his training.
Jake doesn't seem to have any food aggression, but he has shown signs of separation anxiety. Although Jake is not startled by loud noises, would need to be brought inside during thunderstorms where he knows he is safe.
Jake is such a handsome and affectionate guy when things are quiet and calm, but when its time to play Jake is ready. GAME ON! He would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. He is absolutely full of love, and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Jake will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Jake's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and discounted training lessons with thanks to Dog Ed Day Care & Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
