About Spice
Spice aka ‘Honey’ is super sweet and cuddly … definitely not Scary Spice. There’s nothing timid about Spice, she’s happy to share her love with everyone, the other cats, the dog and all visitors, large or small. Even a friend’s dog fell in love with her and licked her so much she was wet!
Spice is a very active player; she loves to run always at full speed looking for an adventure, a toy and something, anything generally that she can play soccer with. But note; don’t wiggle your toes under the doona, she’ll pounce! But, she’s also kind and generous and often brings her foster mum special gifts, like a big leaf she’s found in the cat run or her favourite toy that day. She’s also very ‘helpful’ and likes to ‘help’ clean the litter tray by tapping her foster mum on the head – gently, just to let you know she loves you, but then again, she love hair and likes to nuzzle into it, including beards.
Spice is more than happy to be picked up and cuddled any time; she loves attention and more than happy to stop what she’s doing to give you all of hers.
If you’re looking for a cat with a beautiful personality who will shower you with kisses and attention, ‘Honey’ Spice is definitely your girl.
She's best suited to a home where she has people around through the day or a cat/dog as a companion.
Medical notes
Spice is one of the MEOW Spice Girls diagnosed when a small kitten with Eyelid Agenesis, a congenital defect of the eyelid in which the upper lateral eyelid is not formed.
Spice has had Mustarde Eyelid Agenesis Repair surgery on her right eye. The surgery wasn't 100% successful and it has been deemed that the other eye was not suitable for the surgery.
To prevent irritation to the cornea in both eyes, Spice will need to have eye lubricant applied twice daily, in both eyes ongoing.
Spice doesn’t mind this at all, it's just part of her day and she loves the attention anyway.
She is also cross eyed but she has adapted and it does not affect her at all.
