About Cyril
The amazing Cyril, where do we start with this sweet boy
This beautiful boy is looking for a home of his own with no other dogs and no cats!
At 5 years old Cyril the Staghound cross pointer was surrendered to us due to a change in his owners circumstances and is now ready and looking for a new home to call his own.
Although no longer timid, when Cyril first arrived at BARC he was understandably a very nervy dog, but with time and patience and lots of treats he fast warmed up to the staff here at BARC and is ready to move away from the life off being an outside dog and his hoping his new family will let him be inside by the heater on the cold nights, he just wants to be one of the family.
Best suited to a home consisting of a single person looking for a new best friend or perhaps a family with older teenagers who know when to give a dog their own space if needed. Cyril wants to be the only dog in the home and will not live with cats or small animals.
Cyril walks really well on lead and is happy to trot along beside you, in a yard Cyril fast becomes a shadow and wants nothing more than to spend time with you and assist with your going on's. Wanting nothing more than love and possessing a super eagerness to please Cyril is an amazing dog so deserving of a loving home and a second chance.
If you are in need of a personal assistant to help with your daily duties then please contact BARC on 5441-2209 to be able to meet with Cyril and have him apply for the position.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
