About Curtis
Sometimes an extra special boy has a long wait for an extra special home, but we know it is always worth it in the end.
Curtis is a 30kg, boof headed, drooly, lovable rogue who truly believes that he is a lap dog.
Curtis lives hard, loves harder and will have you laughing with his silly antics.
Curtis will have you in hysterics when you watch him run. With the huge grin on his face and his ears and jowls flapping in different directions, he will brighten up even the darkest day.
Curtis is super social. He is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and he adores people of all ages but would be best in a home without little kids that he could accidentally knock over in his zest for life.
Curtis loves food and he takes treats very gently. He knows to sit and not snatch when food is around.
Curtis is the worlds worst guard dog. He thinks of everyone as his friend and he will happily welcome any intruders, although he does look rather scary so some could see him as a deterrent.
Curtis is a strong boy and although he settles and walks well on lead, he can pull a bit initially so an owner whose arm doesn’t readily detach from the socket would be best.
The only real “flaw” with Curtis is that he sees fences more as a suggestion, rather than a rule and with him being so social, he likes to go out and make friends if his humans leave him. Having said that, he is the kind of dog that would happily go to work at an office or a trade site and hang around all day. Curtis absolutely loves to go in the car and will jump in and wait for you to take him with you.
Curtis would love to be someone’s best mate and be their 24/7 companion.
Curtis is fine with cattle. He doesn’t chase them but is untested with other livestock. He loves water and loves to play.
Everyone who meets this boy falls totally in love with him, he is just that sort of boy.
Please help Curtis find the love he deserves
