On Hold
Raynor and Raylyn came in with their semi-feral mother Raven. They had been found at the bottom of someone's garden. They had been feeding her through the pregnancy and since having the babies. The landlord had found out so asked them to get rid of them as they were not allowed pets. They were bought to happy paws, Raven is in foster care and we are hoping she will get used to being with humans. Her two babies are getting use to us now, they don't mind being touched and stroked, they are fine with cuddles too! They are in the kitten room now learning to play with the other kittens. They have been desexed, immunised and microchipped.
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
